Leadership
Student Council gives students the opportunity to grow as confident, responsible, and Christ-centered leaders. Student leaders help plan and lead school activities, including pep rallies, prayer services, and retreats, while also finding meaningful ways to serve our school and local community.
Through these experiences, students learn to work as a team, speak confidently in front of others, serve as positive role models, and lead by example. Student Council encourages students to use their gifts and talents to make a positive difference in the Sacred Heart community and beyond.
National Junior Honor Society
The National Junior Honor Society recognizes students who exemplify the values of scholarship, character, leadership, service, and citizenship. At Sacred Heart School, NJHS honors students who demonstrate strong academic achievement while living out the qualities of integrity, responsibility, and service to others.
Members are challenged to maintain high academic standards, take an active role in service, and serve as positive leaders within the school community. Through their involvement in NJHS, students grow in leadership, strengthen their commitment to serving others, and learn to use their God-given gifts and talents to make a meaningful difference in their school and community.
Academic Decathalon
The Academic Decathlon Team challenges students to expand their knowledge, think critically, and pursue academic excellence beyond the classroom. Students work together to prepare for a variety of academic competitions, building knowledge across multiple subject areas while developing strong study habits, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Through preparation and competition, students learn to set goals, persevere through challenges, and apply their knowledge with confidence. The Academic Decathlon Team celebrates a love of learning while encouraging students to strive for excellence and take pride in their academic accomplishments.
