Visual and Performing Arts

Sacred Heart School encourages students to discover their creativity, build confidence, and share their talents through a variety of performing arts opportunities. Students in grades 3–5 participate in spring class plays, while our annual Christmas Program brings our school community together in celebration. Junior high students have the opportunity to take the stage in our production of God’s Masterpiece.

God's Masterpiece - Passion Play

As part of our preparation for the Easter season, Sacred Heart 8th grade students present God’s Masterpiece, a meaningful and faith-filled Passion Play that brings the story of Jesus’ Passion, Death, and Resurrection to life. Through this powerful student-led production, our school community is invited to pause, pray, and reflect on the profound love and sacrifice of Jesus and the hope of His Resurrection.

God’s Masterpiece is a beautiful gift to our school community and an important part of our Lenten journey. By sharing the story of Christ’s Passion, our students help create an opportunity for families, teachers, and fellow students to deepen their faith and prepare their hearts for the celebration of Easter.

Students take on meaningful roles both on and off the stage, directing, acting, and managing the lighting and sound. Through this experience, they grow in leadership, confidence, and teamwork while using their talents to serve their faith and share the message of Christ with our entire Sacred Heart community.
