Admissions

Sacred Heart School admits students of any sex, race, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities. Space or other consideration may limit the number of students admitted.

Preliminary Applications

Preschool

Sacred Heart School Siblings and Sacred Heart Church Parishioners

Preschool Applications will be distributed in person on Monday, January 11th beginning at 7:30 am. Please bring your child's birth certificate and immunization records.

All Other Applicants

Preschool Applications will be distributed in person on Monday, February 1st beginning at 7:30 am. Please bring your child's birth certificate and immunization records.

Kindergarten-8th Grade

Preliminary Applications for Kindergarten-8th Grade will be accepted beginning Monday, January 11th beginning at 7:30 am. Applications must be submitted in person with all supporting documentation and the application fee.

Admission Age Requirements

The age requirements for Preschool is two (2) years 10 months (must be toilet trained).

The age requirements for Pre-K is four (4) years of age on or before September 1 of that school year.

The age requirements for Kindergarten is five (5) years of age on or before September 1 of that school year.

The age requirements for First Grade is six (6) years of age on or before September 1 of that school year.

Admission Documents

All students seeking admission need to provide the following:

Preliminary Application
Copy of birth certificate
Copy of baptismal certificate (If Catholic)
Current academic transcripts (If entering grades 1 - 8)
Current standardized test scores (If entering grades 1-8)
Current immunization records

Admission Procedure

1. Submit an Application – Complete and submit the application, required documents, and $50 non-refundable application fee in person.

2. Testing and/or Shadow Day – Once the application has been received, families will be asked to schedule an admissions test and/or a shadow day. Shadow days are scheduled for applicants entering Grades 3–8.

3. Admission Decision – Admission decisions will be emailed to families sometime in March.
