Learning Beyond the Classroom
At Sacred Heart School, education extends beyond the classroom. Student life gives children opportunities to grow in faith, build character, develop leadership skills, form lasting friendships, and discover new talents within our supportive community.
Through a well-rounded student experience, we nurture the whole child and prepare our students to become faithful disciples, confident leaders, and compassionate citizens who serve others with purpose and joy.
Faith
Faith is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to nurturing each student's relationship with Christ while fostering a lifelong love of the Catholic faith. Through daily prayer, weekly school Mass, and meaningful faith experiences, students are encouraged to live the Gospel with compassion, integrity, and joy.
Leadership
We believe every student has the potential to lead through faith, service, and example. Leadership is cultivated by encouraging students to take initiative, work collaboratively, and use their unique gifts to positively influence those around them. Through meaningful leadership opportunities, students build confidence, responsibility, integrity, and a lifelong commitment to serving others.
Athletics
Our junior high athletics program provides students with opportunities to develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Through participation in competitive sports, students learn the value of perseverance, discipline, commitment, and working together toward a common goal.
Extended Care
Sacred Heart’s Extended Care Program provides affordable, high-quality before and after-school care in a safe, familiar campus setting.
Service
At Sacred Heart School, service is a reflection of our faith in action. Inspired by the teachings of Jesus, students are encouraged to recognize the needs of others and respond with compassion, generosity, and love. Through meaningful service opportunities, they learn that small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact.
After-School Enrichment
Our after-school enrichment program gives students the opportunity to discover new interests, develop their talents, and continue learning in a fun environment. Offerings such as dance, gymnastics, cooking, and public speaking encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and the development of new skills. These programs allow students to grow and explore talents beyond the classroom.
Visual and Performing Arts
The visual and performing arts give students opportunities to express creativity, build confidence, and discover their talents. Through acting, singing, dance, directing, and technical production, students develop communication, and leadership skills while sharing their gifts with the school community.
